So what is an affirmation all about? It’s nothing but a small statement that effectively changes the course of your life. Only if you want, that is. Take the example of a friend who’s completely hooked to smoking. An affirmation that reads- “I need to stop smoking to get a better life” could be life- changing for him. All he needs to do is start believing in the statement. As for you, before writing your own affirmation you should remember a few important things-
1. You yourself are the most important factor here. So try making your affirmation personal. Begin with ‘I’.
2. Do not write an epic in form of an affirmation. Keep it short and simple. Make it work.
3. Make use of your old habit of writing in case of affirmations too. When you write down an affirmation its effectiveness naturally improves.
4. Practice makes perfect. So repeat your affirmation as many times as possible. Make it interesting. Take another step towards being positive.
